At our first event of 2015 we look at the &#8220;Right to be Forgotten&#8221; legislation and other legislation and policies as they relate to Hong Kong. If you&#8217;re into politics, or you&#8217;re a policy wonk,\u00a0or an engaged citizen interested in improving access to information, come out to Meet.25.<br \/>\n<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/88940252108149\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">See this event on Facebook<\/a>.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0&#8220;Right to Be Forgotten&#8221; policy is under review by various governments around the world, and has been adopted broadly by the European Union, Argentina, and the United States. Recently Hong Kong&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcpd.org.hk\/english\/news_events\/commissioners_message\/blog.html\">Privacy Commissioner has recommended adopting the legislation<\/a> for Hong Kong, and there&#8217;s been <a href=\"http:\/\/www.inmediahk.net\/node\/1028865\">push back<\/a>.
